These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Butler AI ("Butler," "we," "us," or "our"), an SMS-based kids activity recommendation service. By signing up for or using Butler, you agree to these Terms.

1. Service Description

Butler is an SMS-based concierge service that sends personalized kids activity recommendations to parents and guardians. We use artificial intelligence to find local activities — including classes, events, parks, and programs — and deliver curated picks via text message.

Recommendations are generated using AI and publicly available information. While we strive for accuracy, we do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or availability of any activity, event, or venue recommended through our service.

2. Eligibility

To use Butler, you must:

• Be at least 18 years of age
• Be a resident of the United States
• Have a valid US mobile phone number capable of sending and receiving SMS
• Be the parent or legal guardian of any children whose information you provide

3. Account and Registration

You create an account by texting Butler and completing our onboarding flow. You agree to provide accurate and current information about yourself and your children. You are responsible for all activity that occurs through your phone number.

4. SMS Messaging Terms

By signing up for Butler, you expressly consent to receive recurring automated SMS messages at the phone number you provide. Key details:

• Message frequency: Approximately every other day, plus responses to your requests
• Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier plan
• Opt out: Reply STOP at any time to unsubscribe from all messages
• Help: Reply HELP for assistance
• Carriers: Compatible with major US carriers including AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon, and others

Consent to receive SMS messages is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services.

5. Pricing

Butler is currently free to use during our early access period. If we introduce paid plans in the future, we will notify you via SMS in advance. You will never be charged without explicit consent.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use Butler for any unlawful purpose
• Send abusive, threatening, or harassing messages to our service
• Attempt to interfere with or disrupt our service
• Use automated scripts or bots to interact with our service
• Provide false or misleading information during registration
• Resell, redistribute, or commercially exploit our recommendations

7. Intellectual Property

All content, branding, and technology associated with Butler — including our name, logo, recommendation algorithms, and message formats — are owned by Butler AI and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute our content without permission.

Activity information we recommend may be sourced from public data and third-party venues. We do not claim ownership of third-party content.

8. Disclaimers

Butler is provided "as is" and "as available." We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding:

• The accuracy or completeness of activity recommendations
• The availability, safety, or quality of recommended activities or venues
• Uninterrupted or error-free service
• The suitability of any activity for your specific child

You are responsible for verifying activity details (dates, times, prices, age appropriateness, safety) directly with the venue or organizer before attending. Butler provides recommendations as a starting point, not a guarantee.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Butler AI and its officers, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our service, including but not limited to:

• Any injury, loss, or damage incurred at a recommended activity or venue
• Inaccurate or outdated activity information
• Service interruptions or technical failures
• Unauthorized access to your data

Our total liability for any claim related to the service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim (or $50, whichever is greater).

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Butler AI from any claims, damages, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the service or violation of these Terms.

11. Termination

You may stop using Butler at any time by replying STOP to any message. We may suspend or terminate your access to Butler at our discretion if you violate these Terms or for any other reason with reasonable notice.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you via SMS before the changes take effect. Your continued use of Butler after changes are communicated constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of Butler shall be resolved in the courts located in Kings County, New York.
